- Idaho National Laboratory and Wyoming have agreed to a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to advance clean energy in the state.
- The MOU targets 14 technologies that Idaho National Lab will look to advance including hydrogen, nuclear, and net-zero industrial production.
- Wyoming will also be home to Terra Power’s advanced nuclear reactor in Kemmerer, which will come online in 2027.
“Under the agreement, the state of Wyoming and Battelle Energy Alliance, the contractor operating the Idaho National Laboratory, will ‘collaborate in the research, development, demonstration and deployment of advanced energy technologies and approaches,’ including nuclear and hydrogen, the governor’s office said.”
