- In 2021 Verizon launched the Climate Resilience Prize which awards $125,000 to climate tech startups to help them scale.
- This year’s winners include Raincoat, which collaborates with insurers, financial institutions, nonprofits, and governments to underwrite parametric flood insurance policies.
- Perimeter, another Prize winner, is developing an information sharing and collaboration platform that first responders and citizens can use in the event of natural disasters.
