Afdhel Aziz reports for Forbes that Coca-Cola has joined forces with The Ocean Cleanup to clean the most polluted rivers in the world.
- The Ocean Cleanup’s mission is to rid the world’s oceans and rivers of plastic pollution by developing technology to rid water of legacy plastics and improve waterways.
- The Ocean Cleanup has found that 1,000 rivers are responsible for nearly 80% of plastic pollution that enters oceans.
- Coca-Cola’s partnership will fund technological advancements and getting Ocean Cleanup’s novel Interceptor device to more markets.
