GE submits plans for Teesside blade plant

ReNews reports that GE has submitted plans for a U.K. blade plant.

  • GE will begin producing wind turbine blades in the United Kingdom as an effort to ramp up renewable energy production.
  • GE has also recently announced that they will begin powering all of their plans with clean hydrogen fuel.
  • Through private-sector leadership, we can reduce emissions and have a cleaner environment.

“The 78,000sq metre facility, in the South Bank zone of the Teesworks site, will sit alongside a new 1km heavy lift quay, creating the UK’s premier location for offshore wind.”
