After years of partisan disagreements, lawmakers slipped parts of the farm bill into the “One Big, Beautiful Bill.”
Rep. Glenn Thompson (R-15), who chairs the House Agriculture Committee, said Pennsylvania farmers will especially benefit from the six-year farm bill.
“The Agriculture Committee had its own title within the ‘One Big, Beautiful Bill,’ and the agriculture title really was transformational,” Thompson said.
