Century Lithium is making progress at its Angel Island project in Nevada, with new test results showing their process for extracting lithium is working better than expected. The company has been running a full-scale test facility, known as a Demonstration Plant, to try out improved ways of pulling lithium from clay-rich ground near Silver Peak.

-
Extracting lithium from clay to boost clean energy: Century Lithium is showing that lithium can be pulled from Nevada’s clay-rich soil more effectively than expected, with over 91 percent recovery in recent tests.
-
Cleaner process yields better results: New tech reduces the need for harsh chemicals and cuts down on waste, making the process more efficient and environmentally friendly.
-
Strengthening America’s energy future: Producing high-quality lithium here at home supports EVS and energy storage, while reducing dependence on foreign supply chains.
