TechExplore reports that Microsoft and Alaska Airlines have teamed up to create alternative jet fuel.
Microsoft is making good on its carbon neutrality goals. In addition to finding sustainable ways to fuel jets, the company has also invested in several energy projects including carbon capture.
“Under the agreement, Microsoft will cover the costs of fuel produced from sustainable resources, like waste oils and agricultural residues, which will result in reduced carbon emissions.”
