GM to build electric Chevy Silverado pickup in Detroit

Joann Muller reports on Axios that GM will build a fully electric Chevy Silverado.

  • GM, who is investing $27 billion into EV technology, says that the electric Silverado will provide a driving range of 400 miles.
  • In addition to the Silverado, General Motors has also recently released the all-electric Hummer SUV and Hummer truck.

“General Motors announced Tuesday it will introduce an electric version of its popular Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that will be built at the company’s Factory ZERO assembly plant in Detroit.”
