Food-waste solutions are a big business – and a big opportunity to stem climate change

  • In the United States more than one-third of all food ends up unsold or uneaten. This food waste is the number one product entering landfills where it can emit methane, a greenhouse gas that is far more potent than CO2.

  • Through private sector innovations we can reduce food waste.
