Steven Savage writes in Forbes about one food company that is reducing waste.
- RIND is a company that is reducing food waste by turning unsold produce into snacks.
- RIND takes fruits that are rejected by grocery stores for cosmetic reasons and dehydrates the rinds to create a healthy and tasty treat.
- In 2021 RIND prevented 300,000 pounds of edible peels from entering landfills.
