Honeywell Joins The Growing List Of Companies Committed To Carbon Neutrality

Amy Feldman of Forbes reports that Honeywell has committed to reach carbon neutrality by 2035.

The C3 Take
  • Since 2010, Honeywell has enacted more than 5,000 sustainability projects effectively saving an annualized $100 million.
  • Through the innovation of its various products, Honeywell has reduced carbon dioxide discharge by more than 200 million metric tons.
  • Honeywell’s commitments and actions show that the private sector, not government regulation, is the key to meaningful emissions reductions.

“Honeywell said that it would reach that goal in its operations and facilities through investment in energy-saving projects, conversion to renewable energy sources and other initiatives. It intends to use carbon credits to achieve that goal only if it can’t reduce emissions fast enough through innovation.”
