Energy Secretary Chris Wright and Rep. Mike Lawler are urging New York to take another look at the closed Indian Point nuclear plant, arguing the region could use the reliable electricity as demand climbs. Restarting an existing reactor, they say, may be far quicker than waiting a decade for new nuclear projects to come online.
