  • New polling from the American Conservation Coalition found that private sector companies and leaders, such as Jeff Bezos and Microsoft, are viewed more favorably than politicians.
  • The public trust in the private sector should fuel climate policy.
  • Rather than implementing top-down mandates, policymakers should look for ways to reduce regulations to allow the private sector to produce the innovations that are needed to reduce emissions.

The private sector has made incredible strides across sectors and industries and was crucial to helping the nation through the worst of the pandemic.
