  • New polling from the American Conservation Coalition found that private sector companies and leaders, such as Jeff Bezos and Microsoft, are viewed more favorably than politicians.
  • The public trust in the private sector should fuel climate policy.
  • Rather than implementing top-down mandates, policymakers should look for ways to reduce regulations to allow the private sector to produce the innovations that are needed to reduce emissions.
