UN Showdown Needn’t Be America’s Last Stand on Climate

  • By the end of the decade more than 90% of global emissions will come from outside of the United States.
  • Rather than reinforcing regressive mandates, such as the Paris Agreement, the United Nations should unleash economic freedom to address climate change.
  • Economic freedom reduces emissions and increases human prosperity.
  • If the world is serious about the need to address climate change and reduce risks, it should look to solutions that are rooted in economic freedom.
