U.S. solar had a record year in 2020

Ben Geman of Axios reports that solar power in the U.S. had a record year in 2020.

  • A report from the Solar Energy Industries Association found that 19.2 new gigawatts of solar power were installed in the United States in 2020, representing 43% of all new power generation.
  • The report estimates that over 300 gigawatts of solar power will be added over the course of this decade.
