- The new report has found that the United States is the most successful country at mitigating its own pollution.
- America is decreasing our carbon emissions at a faster rate than other major polluters, all without the Paris Agreement.
- Through bilateral and multilateral partnerships—as well as unlocking both innovation and the free market—the United States can continue to reduce its emissions.
“But for the United States, the real value in this report is as an advisory to that it need not join the Paris Climate Accord. This report is evidence that, instead, the U.S. should just keep doing what it is doing to cut its own emissions. The U.S. is the most successful major country at mitigating its own pollution, and the U.N. shows this.”
