- The Texas Geothermal Energy Alliance is a newly launched trade group that will look to advance geothermal energy in Texas.
- The group includes major energy producers such as Chevron, Halliburton, and Baker Hughs.
- As we look to transition reduce energy emissions we will need all the tools in the toolbelt including geothermal.
“Geothermal technology employs much of the same drilling technologies used in the oil and gas sector, although the wells are designed differently. One member, Nabors Industries, a drilling firm, is already eying geothermal as a business opportunity.”
