Syzygy Plasmonics Raises $76 Million Series C Led by Carbon Direct Capital to Accelerate Delivery of Low-Carbon Hydrogen Technology

Syzygy Plasmonics has raised $76 million in Series C funding.

  • Syzygy Plasomonics, a Rice University startup, has found a way to harness the power of light to energize chemical reactions.
  • The company believes that this innovation will eliminate the need for fossil fuels in chemical manufacturing.
  • Syzygy will use its latest funding round to further develop its all-electric reactor system.

This approach is designed to reduce feedstock waste while producing fewer emissions when powered by renewable electricity. Select Series C participants have also entered into commercial agreements with Syzygy to support their decarbonization goals.”
