- Snow Lake Lithium is a Canadian-based company that is producing lithium with hard rock mining, rather than “slurry mining” that could be harmful to local water supplies.
- The company is looking to power its operations with hydropower and batteries to become carbon neutral within the next two years.
- Snow Lake is showing that private sector innovation is key to creating a more sustainable future.
“Snow Lake Lithium is hugely important for the North American auto industry, which currently has no domestic source for the lithium it needs to produce the millions and millions of electric vehicles it will have to in order to— well, exist into the next decade.”
