Robin Whitlock of Renewable Energy Magazine writes that Elk Hill Solar 2 is now operational.
- The solar farm which is located in Franklin County, PA will produce an estimated 27,377 MWh of electricity—enough to power more than 2,500 homes annually.
- The solar field, which is a product of a power purchase agreement between the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) and Lightsource bp, will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 19,360 metric tons of CO2 annually.
