  • True environmentalism aims to improve the health of the planet and the health of the people that inhabit it.

“Do we want to embrace new technology and private initiative to create a future that still offers consumer choice – in fact, expands it? Do we want a future where poor countries can become wealthy and rich countries can use even more energy (albeit of a zero-carbon variety), allowing greater consumption, more travel and generally greater progress and aspiration? Or are we going to allow a puritanical, anti-growth, anti-consumerist green movement to capture the state and impose its cultural revolution on the population by fiat?”
