Renewables chief says Joe Biden’s China tariffs risk slowing green transition

  • The Biden administration has levied steep tariffs on Chinese EVs, solar panels, and batteries.
  • NextEra CEO Rebecca Kujawa has said that these tariffs have increased costs for developers and consumers and slowed down renewable development.
  • Rather than protectionism, policymakers should unleash open markets to reduce costs of clean technologies.
