Oil refining lobby sees opportunity to work with Biden on climate and trade

The Washington Examiner’s Abby Smith reports that the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers are willing to work with the Biden administration on climate change policy.

  • In order to reduce emissions, the AFPM would support a high octane fuel standard to slash greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Currently, 98% of the cars on the road are gas-powered, high octane fuel would target these emissions.
  • High-octane fuel would effectively lessen our carbon footprint without drastic spending or government interference.
