The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the U.S. Forest Service have approved a project that would construct a 217-mile electrical line connecting Ely, Nevada to Nephi.
The 500-kilovolt transmission project will authorize a right-of-way across BLM-managed public lands in Nevada and Utah, as well as the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest’s Ely Ranger District, to construct a high-voltage electric transmission line, which will include the overhead transmission line and associated facilities.
