Microsoft, on its blog, provides an update on its sustainability commitments.
- Microsoft has announced that by 2030 it will power all of its operations with electricity produced from zero-carbon power sources.
- Through its partnership with Water.org, Microsoft has helped an estimated 160,000 people gain access to safe water or sanitation.
- Microsoft’s leadership shows that the private sector is best equipped to create a cleaner and healthier environment.
“At Microsoft we have a long-term vision that we refer to as 100/100/0 – that on all the world’s grids, 100 percent of electrons, 100 percent of the time, are generated from zero carbon sources.”
