Joe Biden Wants To Spend Trillions on Infrastructure. His Environmental Reforms Ensure He’ll Have To.

  • The Biden administration has stated that they will look to rollback Trump-era reforms to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
  • Under the Trump administration the permitting and review process under NEPA was streamlined to make project approval times happen faster and more efficiently.
  • By rolling these reforms back, the Biden administration will increase the cost and completion times of key infrastructure and clean energy projects.
