Hydrogen startup spins out of Bill Gates-backed R&D effort, lands $7.8M

  • The company is aiming to create a cost-competitive process that creates hydrogen and valuable industrial chemicals with clean electricity.
  • The hydrogen will not be used for fuel and transportation, but rather for industrial processes.
  • Private-sector innovation is delivering climate progress.
