- H.R.1, also known as the Lower Energy Costs Act, is a comprehensive legislative package that aims to address permitting and bolster domestic energy security.
- Included in H.R. 1 is the BUILDER Act which modernizes the permitting and review process under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) to reduce timelines and bring more energy and infrastructure projects online.
- Also included in the package are several provisions that reduce red tape for energy producers and allow America’s energy sector to thrive.
