Google aims to run on carbon-free energy by 2030

Parish Dave of Reuters reports that Google aims to carbon neutral by 2050. This is another example of companies taking it on themselves to be more eco-friendly and reduce their emissions.

“Alphabet Inc’s GOOGL.O Google aims to power its data centers and offices using solely carbon-free electricity by 2030, its chief executive told Reuters, building on its previous goal of matching its energy use with 100% renewable energy.”
