Colin Kellaher of The Wall Street Journal reports that FedEx will invest $2 billion to make their operations carbon neutral by 2040.
- FedEx will make half of its vehicle fleet electric by 2025 and its entire fleet electric by 2030.
- The shipping giant will also provide $100 million to Yale University to develop natural solutions for reducing atmospheric carbon dioxide.
- FedEx is the latest of many corporations to show that the free market is prepared to find the solutions needed to reduce emissions.
