As Natural Gas Intelligence writes, Exxon Mobil and partners have discovered an industrial carbon capture technology.
This is a potential game-changer for carbon capture technology. If this technology is successful, more than 90% of carbon emissions from industrial sources could be captured. Companies from all industry sectors are committing time and resources to find ways to lower their carbon footprint, including Exxon Mobil.
“A possible breakthrough in technology that could capture more than 90% of carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted from industrial sources has been announced from scientists at ExxonMobil, University of California, Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.”
