- A coalition of progressive groups recently sent a letter to the White House urging the Biden administration to “stop demonizing” China, and to start working together to solve climate change.
- China is the world’s largest polluter and has continued to grow its fleet of coal-powered power plants.
- In order to address global climate change the U.S. must hold polluters such as China accountable for its poor environmental record.
“Fighting climate change is indeed a global imperative. But pandering to Beijing isn’t the way to advance that goal.”
