- Ten years ago, conservatives were labeled as “climate deniers.” Since that time, they have led the charge to advance clean energy and climate progress.
- For instance, the 2020 Energy Act, which was spearheaded by Senators Lisa Murkowski and John Barrasso, was the most comprehensive energy legislation in more than a decade and included funding for several advanced energy R&D programs.
- Meanwhile, the Conservative Climate Caucus is one of the largest caucuses in Congress and makes up more than one-third of the House Republican conference.
- Climate change is an issue that conservatives are embracing and winning.
