- Climeworks has announced its Generation 3 direct air capture technology, which can capture twice the CO2 per module while halving energy consumption and costs compared to its predecessor.
- Climeworks plans to begin construction of its first Generation 3 technology plant in Louisiana in 2026, following a $50 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy.
