Climate-Data Startup Arcadia Raises $200 Million

Amrith Ramkumar of The Wall Street Journal reports on climate-data startup Arcadia.

  • Arcadia’s data is unique in that it tracks Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions for companies, helping its clients reach true emissions reductions.
  • This latest round of funding brings Arcadia’s value to $1.5 billion.

“By combining many regional utility data points in one place, Arcadia lets customers know when it is best to store clean energy, use solar power or charge an electric vehicle, Chief Executive Kiran Bhatraju said in an interview.”
