James Hohmann of The Washington Post writes that Charles Koch is looking forward to working with the Biden administration on as “many issues as possible” in hopes to unify our country.
Charles Koch believes that there is too much division in our nation today. That is the impetus for his new book, “Believe in People: Bottom-up Solutions for a Top-Down World.” The book makes the case that empowering entrepreneurs and individuals can solve society’s problems and bring our country back together.
“’Let’s get together and make that happen so we can start helping each other, rather than hurting each other,’ Koch said. ‘This is crazy! Are we going to have a civil war? I mean, this is madness. We see the results of that: We see that in countries where that’s going on, where people are killing each other. I mean, this is crazy, and we’ve got elements of that from both sides. So let’s get away from that!'”
