Ericka Andersen Sylvester is a freelance writer and digital media consultant. She previously worked in communications for The Heritage Foundation and National Review Magazine. Prior to that, she worked in the communications department for former Vice-President Mike Pence in the GOP Conference office. She has been published in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, New York Post, Christianity Today and more. She is a mom of two living in Indianapolis, Indiana.
