BP’s Vision for Life After Oil

Rochelle Toplensky of The Wall Street Journal writes that the oil giant plans to be carbon neutral by 2050, but there is financial uncertainty on how they will get there.

  • Companies will achieve these goals primarily through innovation and technology.

“New Chief Executive Bernard Looney promised in February to cut BP’s net emissions to zero by 2050, in a reversal of the London-based company’s previous stance. On Tuesday, he announced plans to achieve this ambition alongside a mixed set of results.”
