- President Biden recently launched the American Climate Corps to recruit young Americans to plant trees and conserve ecosystems. While these are noble goals, the private sector and existing federal programs are already doing these jobs well.
- Instead of creating redundant programs, the federal government should redirect wasteful spending to effective programs that lower emissions while reducing red tape for conservation.
- Saddling future generations with debt is sure way to stymie economic and environmental progress.
