A roadway will charge your EV while you’re driving

  • Electrified roadways are stretches of road that have wireless charging infrastructure underneath the asphalt that can charge EVs wirelessly.
  • Electreon Wireless, an Israeli electric roadway company that has built roads in Europe, will build America’s first electric roadway in Detroit in 2023.
  • Having more accessible charging sources could lead to further deployment and interest in electric vehicles.
