- Supercharge’s goal is to fund ambitious climate startups at an accelerated timeline that is not usually seen in the venture capital world.
- Thus far the company has doled out funding to a Seattle-based company that is supporting clean energy installations, a DC-based company that is using AI to bolster grid resiliency, a New York startup that is installing curbside EV chargers, and another Seattle startup that connects contractors to decarbonization incentives.
“Eidelson emphasizes that while Stepchange is driven by what he sees as a moral imperative — working as fast and aggressively as possible to slash carbon from every sector of the economy — he also expects it to succeed financially.”
