A New Study Says Nuclear Energy Is Pointless. Don’t Believe It.

Caroline Delbert on Popular Mechanics writes that despite a recent University of Sussex report, nuclear energy can and should be a part of our energy portfolio going forward.

  • 12 nuclear plants are scheduled to close by 2025 which would result in adding 1 percent of carbon emissions back into the atmosphere.
  • We need an expedited licensing process to add more nuclear energy to our nation’s grid.
