A Mining Company Is Using Hydrogen Power in Its Trucks, Cutting CO2 Emissions

  • Global mining giant Anglo American is looking hydrogen trucks to reduce emissions.
  • The trucks will be a hybrid, with a hydrogen fuel cell powering half of it and a battery pack powering the other half.
  • Mining trucks consumer 35 gallons of diesel per hour. Cutting emissions from mining operations will require innovative solutions such as hydrogen-powered trucks.
