- Panasonic, Tesla’s primary supplier of batteries, will open up a new factory in De Soto, Kansas.
- The new factory is expected to employ up to 4,000 people, provide more than 16,000 construction jobs, and create $4 billion in investment for the state.
- Once completed it is completed, the De Soto plant will be Panasonic’s second EV battery factory in America.
