- Last year America exported 92.58 metric tons of coal.
- In addition to coal, the United States is powering the world through our exports of natural gas.
- Developing nations around the world are looking to modernize, which will take a lot of energy that the United States can produce.
“Brouillette, though, says ‘there’s a very bright future for coal.’ Why? Because coal exports remain strong and some of our biggest foreign customers are doing something we’re not — building more coal plants.”
